How Long Your Data Is Stored

SC CodeDope SRL keeps your personal data only for the period necessary for the purposes explained in Article 4.

The storage period varies depending on the data in question, as it can be affected by the nature and purpose of its collection. Also, certain legal obligations stipulate a certain storage period.

When you subscribe to our newsletters or download free resources, we store your email address, name, and surname, until you unsubscribe (the unsubscribe link is included in all our emails, even at the bottom of the message).

When you contact SC CodeDope SRL using any contact method (email, phone number, contact form), your data will be stored for three (3) years from the date of the last interaction with CodeDope, and then it will be deleted.

When you are our customer on the platform, we process your personal data throughout the duration of the contractual relations and afterwards in accordance with the legal obligations incumbent on SC CodeDope SRL (in the case of financial-accounting supporting documents, the storage period provided by law is 10 years from the date of closing of the financial year during which they were drawn up).

If you contact us to become a partner or affiliate, your data will be stored for the entire duration of the contract and for five (5) years starting from the moment the contract is terminated.

Data related to user accounts you created will be stored for the entire duration of registration and for two (2) years starting from the moment the account is closed.

Data collected using cookies or markers will be stored for up to six (6) months for audience tracking cookies and markers and up to thirteen (13) months for others.

In accordance with Article 12.6 of the GDPR, when you exercise any of these rights, SC CodeDope SRL, as a data operator, reserves the right to ask for proof of your identity. Please be aware that the data requested for proof of identity will be deleted immediately after we respond to your request.

We are obliged to respond within one (1) month to all requests to exercise these rights. This period can be extended to two (2) months for complex requests or with a very large volume.

The information provided as well as the measures taken in exercising the rights mentioned above are offered by SC CodeDope SRL free of charge. However, if the requests are unfounded or excessive (repetitive), we can either charge you a fee or refuse the request.
